  • Develop a unified, multidisciplinary educational curriculum for health care professionals, including primary health care providers, using harmonized clinical practice guidelines
  • Improve access to care for people with COPD, particularly for those in hard-to reach areas
  • Help expand, coordinate, and optimize COPD research efforts
  • Improve methods for earliest detection and diagnosis and develop effective strategies for preventing the onset and progression of COPD

Activity Description

The Pacific Coast Lung Health Conference is an accredited health professional event that allows corporate and healthcare partners an opportunity to showcase new and improved treatments, research, and technologies in the management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and other lung health diseases. The conference will bring together physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and allied health care providers from local health systems, hospitals, and community clinics throughout the Pacific Coast. This conference alliance with the National Action Plan goals 2 and 4 to help improve the quality of care delivered to those with COPD and allow current health care providers to see new research in the prevention and care of lung disease. The event is scheduled to take place Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
