Activity Description

The goal of the Reaching Rural Providers project is to increase early diagnosis of COPD in rural communities across the United States, while also providing access to
resources for prevention, treatment and management of COPD.

Objectives:
• Increase awareness of the availability of COPD education for healthcare professionals among rural providers
• Increase the percentage of healthcare learners from rural communities engaging with online trainings and courses through the American Lung Association, NHLBI
and other partners
