Activity Description

Implementation and Interpretation of Spirometry resources were designed especially for healthcare professionals who have the responsibility to administer and implement the spirometry test and primary care providers who will be interpreting the results to assist with diagnosis and disease management, including COPD.

This includes downloadable spirometry resources, videos on coaching, case studies, and how to conduct a test.

Impact Analysis

Hundreds of health professionals have participated in Spirometry trainings held in local communities across the Midwest region. For the first time in 2020, we began offering these resources online and accessible to professionals nationwide.

Advice or Lessons Learned

Sharing resources and materials in an easy to access location allows for frequent utilization of course materials long after the event has ended.
