Video, audio recording, PowerPoint handout, and transcript of a webinar discussing the National Advisory Committee of Rural Health and Human Services (NACRHHS) policy brief Addressing the Burden of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in Rural America and related recommendations. Speakers include representatives from NACRHHS, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the University of North Carolina's School of Public Health, and the Dorney-Koppel Foundation. This webinar recording aligns with Goal 1 - Objective 1 and Goal 2 - Objective 5 of the COPD National Action Plan by sharing information, resources, and recommendations to increase the effectiveness and variety of activities using evidence-based approaches to raise awareness of COPD, reduce its burden, and improve access to care for people with COPD in hard-to reach areas.
